Dr. Anthony Rinaldi is a board-certified clinical Neuropsychologist and owner/founder of Rinaldi Neuropsychology LLC. He is also the Co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Health at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT. Dr. Rinaldi earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2017. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Canandaigua VA Healthcare System followed by his post-doctoral residency in Neuropsychology at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System.
Dr. Rinaldi specializes in assessing individuals aged 18+ with a variety of medical and psychiatric conditions that may negatively impact cognition. Common referral conditions/concerns include normal aging, MCI, Alzheimer's disease, cerebrovascular disease, post-stroke, TBI history, Neurologic disease (e.g., Parkinson's disease, MS, ALS), endocrine/metabolic disorders, infectious disease history (e.g., HIV, post-COVID), anoxic brain injury, and psychiatric contributions to cognitive changes (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD). Dr. Rinaldi has also presented at national conferences on topics related to Neuropsychology and has published peer-reviewed articles notably about performance validity in Neuropsychology.
